Dealer to Dealer Transfers

At Full Bore Gunworks, we ensure a smooth and efficient transfer process when you purchase a firearm from another FFL dealer and have it shipped to us.

Transfer Process:

The transfer fee is $30 for the first firearm and $15 for each additional. The FFL dealer you purchased from will need to email us at fullboregunworks@gmail.com to request a copy of our FFL or or complete the form on this page. Transfers are available for Pennsylvania residents only. Once we receive your firearm, a Full Bore Gunworks representative will contact you and send you a link to schedule a one-on-one appointment. This appointment allows us to provide you with our full attention, ensuring a quicker and smoother transfer experience. During your visit, we will complete the required paperwork and conduct a background check. Please bring a valid photo driver’s license, state ID, or government-issued photo ID. Important Note: If your background check is denied, you will still be responsible for the transfer fee, as well as any costs for returning the firearm to the original FFL dealer.

Private Party Transfers

At Full Bore Gunworks, we handle private party firearm transfers with professionalism and compliance, ensuring a smooth and secure transaction for both parties. Handguns (Pistols/Revolvers): Our fee is $30 for the first firearm and $15 for each additional firearm. The recipient must be a Pennsylvania resident, and both the buyer and seller need to be present to complete the transfer. Valid identification is required from both parties (a photo driver’s license, state ID, or government-issued photo ID). Our team at Full Bore Gunworks will assist you in completing all necessary forms and conduct a background check on the recipient. Please note, if the background check is denied, the transfer cannot be completed, but the transfer fee will still apply. Long Guns (Rifles, Shotguns): We would be glad to handle the transfer process for a fee of $30 for the first firearm and $15 for each additional firearm. To ensure a quicker and smoother experience, please reach out to schedule your one-on-one appointment with us. This will allow us to provide you with our full attention and make the transfer process as seamless as possible.

Step 2: Gather Required Information

To facilitate the transfer process, we will need to gather some essential information, including:

  • Your personal details (name, address, contact information)
  • Details of the firearm you intend to transfer (make, model, serial number)
  • Any pertinent documentation related to the firearm (purchase receipt, ownership documents)

Having this information readily available will streamline the transfer process and ensure everything moves smoothly.

Step 3: Arrange for Firearm Shipment

Once you’ve coordinated with Full Bore Gunworks and gathered all the necessary information, you’ll need to arrange for the shipment of the firearm to our location. Ensure that you comply with all Federal and State laws regarding the shipping of firearms to avoid any legal complications.

Step 4: Visit Full Bore Gunworks for the Background Check

Once the firearm has been delivered to our location, you will need to visit Full Bore Gunworks to complete the transfer process.

Step 5: Complete Transfer Paperwork

Before leaving Full Bore Gunworks premises, ensure that you complete all necessary paperwork related to the firearm transfer. This may include filling out a transfer form, providing identification, and signing any required documents.

Step 6: Take Possession of the Firearm

Once all paperwork is completed and the background check has been approved, you will be able to take possession of the transferred firearm. If you are delayed on the background check for any reason, you will be notified once we have the approval and can schedule another day to pick up your firearm.
